2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your conversations: All AI interactions occur entirely on your device and are never sent to our servers
• Prompts or queries: Your questions and inputs to AI models remain private on your device
• AI-generated responses: Model outputs are processed and stored only on your device
• Custom "Pals" configurations: Your custom AI agents and their settings are stored locally
• Personal documents or files: Any files you analyze with AI models stay on your device
• Conversation history: Chat logs are stored only in your device's local storage

3. Information We DO Collect

To provide and improve our Service, we collect limited, non-sensitive information:

3.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Account credentials (encrypted passwords)
• User ID (generated automatically)
• Account creation date
• Subscription tier (Starter, Pro, or Power User)

3.2 Device and Technical Information

To ensure compatibility and improve performance, we collect:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version number
• Device RAM and storage capacity (for model compatibility)
• Crash reports and error logs (anonymized)
• Performance metrics (app load times, inference speed)

5. On-Device Processing

AIAgentPals uses Apple's MLX framework (on iOS) and Android's Neural Networks API (on Android) to run AI models entirely on your device. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device during AI processing
• The app works fully offline once models are downloaded
• No internet connection is required for AI interactions
• Models run using your device's CPU, GPU, and/or Neural Engine
• All processing happens in your device's secure enclave

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1 Local Storage

All conversation history, custom Pals, and user preferences are stored exclusively on your device using:

• iOS Keychain (for sensitive data)
• iOS File System with encryption at rest
• Android Keystore and Encrypted SharedPreferences

6.2 Cloud Storage

The only information we store on our servers is:

• Account credentials (encrypted)
• Purchase verification data
• Anonymized analytics (aggregated across all users)

All server data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

6.3 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security practices:

• End-to-end encryption for authentication
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Secure coding practices and code reviews
• Limited employee access to any user data

7.3 Model Providers

AI models are downloaded from trusted sources (Hugging Face, direct model providers). We only download models; no usage data is sent to model providers.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You can request a copy of the limited data we store about you (email, account info, purchase history).

8.2 Correction

You can update your email address and account information in the app settings.

8.3 Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. This will:

• Remove your account from our servers within 30 days
• Delete all locally stored data on your device (if you uninstall the app)
• Invalidate your purchase license (purchases are non-refundable)

8.4 Opt-Out of Analytics

You can disable anonymous usage analytics in the app settings at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

AIAgentPals is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.

Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information to us should contact us immediately.

10. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access AIAgentPals from outside the U.S., your limited account information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S.

We comply with applicable data protection laws and use standard contractual clauses for international transfers where required.

Local device data persists until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
